Sensitive Word - ENGLISH

Sensitive words are intended to ensure that companies are not using a name that does not reflect the location, size or nature of the business conducted by the company. There are approximately 50 words that Companies House regard as sensitive. What Companies House say about using the word ENGLISH
if you wish to use this words as a prefix to your company name, the rules are similar to those for 'British'. You will usually be given approval to use this word as a suffix if you show that the company has its main place of business in the country concerned. If you want to use one of these words because it is a surname, you will usually be given approval if the company name includes forenames or initials.
What do we need to process your application?
1. All supporting documents should be emailed to The Company Wizard as an image or Word attachment.
2. To use this word as a prefix you must show that the company is English owned and the largest of it's type in England. To use this word as suffix you must demonstrate that the main place of business for the company will be within the boundaries of England.
