Document Verification Requirements



To comply with current identity verification standards you will be required to provide one document from each group.

Group A: Primary Documents


The individual may provide any of the following photographic or biometric IDs:
  • Passports & Residence Cards: * Passport or Irish passport card (acceptable up to 18 months past expiry)
  • UK Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) (acceptable up to 18 months past expiry)
  • UK Biometric Residence Card (BRC)
  • Biometric identity card from the EU, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein
  • Photocard driving licence (full or provisional) from the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, or EU
  • UK or EU driver digital tachograph card
  • Military & Government: * UK HM Armed Forces ID Card or Veteran Card
  • UK Frontier Worker permit
  • Government-issued photographic work permit, visa, or immigration document
  • Other Accepted IDs: * UK accredited PASS card
  • UK, Channel Islands, or Isle of Man firearms licence
  • Any other photographic ID listed on the PRADO registry (e.g., a US Permanent Resident Card, a Pakistan National Identity Card, or a South Africa crew member certificate)

Group B: Secondary Documents


Proof of Current Address (These documents must explicitly state the person's current address):
  • Certificates: Birth, adoption, marriage, or civil partnership certificate
  • Immigration: Non-photographic visa, work permit, or immigration document
  • Financial: Bank or building society statement
  • Utility bill
  • UK council tax statement
  • Mortgage statement
  • UK local authority or social housing rental agreement
